In
the meantime, SSF saw some new releases - the compatibility has increased,
though it is far from being perfect. The speed has unfortunately become even
slower - on my 400MHz PC, I don't get more than 1 or 2 frames per second.
Well, what's that supposed to tell us? Until we see a reasonably
fast Saturn emulator, it will take at least another two years. The Saturn is
an extremely complex system which simply needs a LOT of CPU power to be
emulated. |

almost impossible thing has happened: A partially working Saturn emulator,
called SSF,
has finally been released! Head over to the newly created (preliminary)
emulator page to find out everything about it! |

Finally, I could fill the Saturn section of Eidolon's Inn with some content.
Though I believe we are still FAR away from any working emulators, the
recent 32X emulators at least show that Saturn emulation might be possible
in the near future. In the meantime, I added some nice tools for download
and offer some technical documents on the development page. |
